Technincal Support Mission for KDSP II

Technical Support Mission of the Government of Kenya and the World Bank for the Second Kenya Devolution Support Program (KDSP II).

Technical Support Missions are held periodically to review counties’ progress towards KDSP II objectives to strengthening county governments to enhance service delivery and ensure accountability in the use of public resources.
The Mission provides an engagement platform for County Technical Teams to:
• Review progress of ongoing KDSP II activities
• Receive guidance on actions supporting Minimum Access Conditions, Performance Conditions, and Disbursement Linked Indicators (DLIs)
• Engage in consultation with key national stakeholders to align county activities with program objectives and results indicators.
This Mission also focuses on updates from counties on outcomes of their self-assessments as they prepare for review by the Independent Verification Agent (IVA).
Throughout the week, counties are presenting their Status of Achievements on:
• Attainment of minimum conditions for receiving Institutional and Service Delivery Investment Grants
• Progress under all Disbursement Linked Indicators (DLIs)
• Cross-cutting program areas including Environmental & Social Safeguards, Occupational Safety & Health, Grievance Redress Mechanisms and Communications
Counties participating on Day 2:
Bungoma, Busia, Trans Nzoia, Vihiga, Migori, Homa Bay, Kakamega, Nyamira, Machakos, and Nairobi City County.
