Steering Committee Meeting for the 2025 Devolution Conference

The Principal Secretary for the State Department for Devolution, Michael Loikenu Lenasalon and the Devolution Conference Steering Committee met with H.E the Deputy President of the Republic of Kenya, Kithure Kindiki, EGH,  to brief him on the preparations of the upcoming 9th Annual Devolution Conference, set to be hosted in Homa Bay County from 12th-15th August, under the timely and resonant theme "Equity, Inclusion and Social Justice.

The Committee's report reflects commendable progress in logistical planning, stakeholder engagement and coordination efforts aimed at delivering a successful, impactful and inclusive conference.

This year’s conference promises to be a critical platform for deepening the devolution agenda, amplifying marginalized voices and charting new pathways toward a more just and equitable Kenya.
