State Department for Devolution Principal Secretary Michael Loikenu Lenasalon, was today sworn in as a member of the Selection Panel mandated to oversee the recruitment of nominees for appointment as seven members of the IGRTC -Intergovernmental Relations Technical Committee.
The Selection Panel, appointed by H.E. William Samoei Ruto through Gazette Notice No. 5050 of 10th April 2026, was officially sworn in at the KICC Kenya in a ceremony presided over by the Deputy Chief Registrar of the Judiciary, Hon. Paul Ndemo.
The Panel has been entrusted with the critical responsibility of conducting a transparent and merit-based recruitment process for members of the Technical Committee, in strict adherence to the law and the principles of good governance.
The Selection Panel will be chaired by Amos Gathecha, Deputy Head of Public Service, and includes IGRTC CEO Dr. Kipkurui Chepkwony and Council of Governors CEO Mary Mwiti, who will serve as joint secretaries to the Panel.
