International Youth Fellowship Meetting

Today, Principal Secretary for the State Department for Devolution, Michael Loikenu Lenasalon, met with a delegation from the International Youth Fellowship (IYF) led by Director Yohan Kim.
‎The meeting focused on exploring collaboration between the State Department and IYF in areas such as leadership and mindset training, youth enterprise development, capacity building and volunteer programs across counties.
‎PS Lenasalon reaffirmed the Department’s commitment to promoting mindset change as a key driver of national development and encouraged IYF to strengthen partnerships that reach more young people, especially in marginalized areas.
‎Mr. Kim highlighted IYF’s global impact in transforming youth mindsets and shared that over 57,000 young Kenyans have already benefited from the Free Weekend Academy, which provides both mindset education and vocational training.
‎The IYF, established in 1995 and active in over 100 countries, continues to empower youth in Kenya through leadership, skills development and volunteerism.
‎Present in the meeting was the Head of County Performance Assessment and also the Principal Secretary's Technical Advisor, Margaret Osili among others.
