IGRTC -Intergovernmental Relations Technical Committee Meeting
This morning, the Principal Secretary for the State Department for Devolution, Michael Loikenu Lenasalon, chaired a consultative meeting with the leadership of the IGRTC -Intergovernmental Relations Technical Committee, led by CEO Kipkurui Chepkwony.
The meeting focused on aligning departmental priorities to advance intergovernmental relations and strengthen the delivery of devolution. Discussions also covered key policy and operational matters, with both institutions exploring areas of mutual engagement and identifying opportunities for greater coordination moving forward.
The meeting reinforced the State Department and IGRTC’s joint resolve to drive strategic collaboration towards effective devolution and better service delivery across all levels of government.
Also in attendance were the Secretary for Devolution and Intergovernmental Relations, MO Shalle; the Director of County Capacity Building and Technical Assistance, Kennedy Nyambati; the Head of Policy and Research Maurice Ogolla; and the Head of Devolution Collaboration and Partnerships, Dr. Sawmel Nyaga, alongside other senior officials from the State Department.
The IGRTC delegation included CEO Kipkurui Chepkwony and Director of Legal Services, Sophie Amutavy.
